JUDGE’S WORST LIST: Don’t look for investigator Robert Davis of the district attorney’s office in the witness box when Dr. Thomas Gionis’ new trial starts this week. . . . Davis’ bungled investigation two years ago led to a hung jury at Gionis’ first trial on charges that the surgeon ordered an attack on ex-wife Aissa Wayne. Judge Ted Millard, who presided at the first trial, said from the bench last week: “Mr. Davis was without a doubt the worst witness I have ever seen in my career. I’ve seen ex-cons tell more plausible stories.”
