Mixing Messages in the Tyson Case
I can’t describe what a lift to my 71-year-old mind Robin Abcarian’s column of April 3 gave me.
All during Mike Tyson’s trial and the press furor, I kept thinking and wondering. What is wrong with our society when we place so much misguided adulation on a criminal rapist because of money and sports fervor?
We need some turning around in our thinking if we are to survive as a national thinking society.
