California’s Death Penalty

Why is everyone so concerned about Harris having to pay for his crime with his life? What has the clergy to do with it? Why is Mother Teresa involved? Why don’t the protesters put their time toward community work--such as working in the hospitals, with the poor, with the schools, etc.? There is so much good they could be doing instead of marching around with a lighted candle in their hands.

In all the articles I have read, there has been no concern for the two young boys he murdered, no concern for the parents, families and relatives of these two boys. Why is it that no one seems to take into consideration the two victims (they didn’t want to die) and the family, relatives and friends (they didn’t want them taken away from them) but only the consideration that Harris has to give up his life--he’s had 13 years longer than the two boys.
