California’s Death Penalty

No matter how precise the procedure for killing, the death penalty is still a cruel and unusual punishment. One wonders why, in this twilight of the 20th Century, we are still waiting for the dawn of consciousness, to affirm that humanity cannot be protected by an inhuman act.
