* Kaiser Permanente has given a $5,000 grant to the East Valley Boys and Girls Club for youth counseling services.
The counseling is for youths who are first- or second-time offenders or those at risk of drug and alcohol abuse or gang involvement. The services will be provided by licensed mental health professionals and offered at the Baldwin Park Community Center.
