MATHEMATICIAN: Richard DeHoyos, 34, under a jury death verdict for the murder of a 9-year-old Santa Ana schoolgirl, says from Orange County Jail that he’s calculated why he will never go to the gas chamber: “There’s 340 guys on Death Row. They could gas one a month and never get to me.” . . . DeHoyos adds that Robert Alton Harris deserved execution Tuesday. “But I’m no Harris. I was on drugs, had no control that day.
