Gateway Reports $408,000 in Net Income

Gateway Communications Inc., the Irvine computer products company, reported net income of $408,000, equal to 8 cents per share, for the first quarter, up 23% from the $331,000, or 7 cents per share, recorded a year ago. Revenue increased 5%, to $6.7 million from $6.4 million.
