AH, TO BE 18: You’ll have to pardon folks at Century High School for getting excited about this year’s senior graduation--it’s the first one they’ve ever had. The newest Santa Ana high school celebrated Friday with posters, a huge cake and breakfast donated by local businesses. About 100 seniors filled out voter-registration cards. Said one teacher: “Six months ago, a lot of them wouldn’t have cared who was running for President. But now they realize their vote can make a difference.”
