The problem with Mr. Shoemaker’s suit is that it names the wrong parties.

Shouldn’t it include the golfer who got the hole in one at Sierra La Verne and then bought two rounds of drinks? Shouldn’t it include Ford for not designing his car to follow the road automatically?

As far as Mrs. Shoemaker’s suit for loss of consortium, it seems to me that Bill can still function with the public as a partner.
