It’s the Epitome of a Bare Market

SAN FRANCISCO — Four protesters wearing little more than green paint greeted traders arriving at the Pacific Stock Exchange Monday morning.
The four weren’t demonstrating against the greenbacks that well-heeled investors make but against the “role corporations play in the destruction of the environment.” The Earth Action Network protesters said they were dressed as trees.
Besides green paint, the only thing covering two male demonstrators were athletic supporters, while two women wore only tennis shoes, an exchange spokeswoman said.
There were no arrests.
