Sierra Madre : Spring Cleanup Day
On Saturday, Sierra Madre residents will be able to dispose of nontoxic garbage at no charge at the City Yards, north of the Community Recreation Center, 621 E. Sierra Madre Blvd.
The annual Spring Cleanup Day is sponsored by the city and Western Waste Industries. Residents can bring furniture and other oversized trash that won’t fit in their standard collection containers. No liquids, paints or oils will be accepted.
The yards will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents should bring a driver’s license to prove they live in the city.
