Lanee Butler won the second race in the Olympic Sailboarding trials at Fort Pierce, Fla., and a berth on the U.S. team at the Summer Games in Barcelona.
Butler, of San Juan Capistrano, had 16.7 points to 25.7 for Jayne Fenner of Sarasota, Fla.
Mike Gebhardt, who won a bronze medal in the 1988 Olympics, had a lead of more than 40 points and wrapped up the men’s Olympic berth Friday.
