Poland to Reopen Credit Talks With IMF: Poland will reopen credit talks with the International Monetary Fund today after a nine-month suspension of lending, the PAP news agency said. IMF credit to Poland was suspended in September when its previous government failed to curb a ballooning budget deficit. IMF Managing Director Michel Camdessus said last week he is confident that a new agreement will be reached, allowing renewed disbursements under a three-year, $2.5-billion credit package.
