Ford to Adapt Taurus for Japan Market: Ford Motor Co., which has already said it will sell a right-hand-drive Probe car in Japan, plans to follow that with a right-hand-drive version of the Taurus. Ford’s top-selling car in the United States is now produced only with left-hand drive, which limits its popularity in Japan, a right-hand-drive market. However, the next-generation Taurus, due out around 1995, will be built with both left-hand drive and right-hand drive, a Ford executive said.
