Leslie’s Poolmart Adds 26 New Stores in ’92

Leslie’s Poolmart said that by May 15 it will have opened 26 new stores during 1992, expanding the Chatsworth-based company’s total network to 130 outlets.
The company is the leading independent provider of swimming-pool supplies. In the past 16 months, Leslie’s said it has expanded its system from 83 stores in 21 states to 130 stores in 26 states.
Five of the stores opened this year are self-service discount outlets operating under the Pool Club-USA name, Leslie’s said.
