Computerland to Buy TRW Computer Maintenance Unit: Computerland Corp. said it agreed to buy the $110-million customer service division of TRW Inc., a personal computer service and support operation, for an undisclosed sum. Pleasanton, Calif.-based Computerland, which has been evolving into a computer reseller focusing on corporate accounts rather than retail sales, said the acquisition would give it the nation’s largest independent, multi-vendor PC service group, with $280 million in revenues.
