Burglars Take Equipment From N.Y. State Offices

ALBANY, N.Y. —
The office of Richard Girgenti, state director of Criminal Justice Services, was burglarized overnight, his spokeswoman said Tuesday. Tape recorders, small radios and spare change were stolen from his desk, and from those of Gov. Mario M. Cuomo’s speech writers in nearby offices, the spokeswoman said.
