President’s Dinner
In response to “4,300 Eat With GOP Elite, Fork Over $9 Million,” April 29:
My disgust is only surpassed by the anger I feel right now. George Bush and all his “friends” (big-money contributors) have really thrown it in our faces this time. Their $9-million fund-raiser epitomizes what politics means today--Big Money. And if you’re privileged to contribute those dollars then you can have breakfast, lunch or even a photo session with our President.
Bush says his reelection and presidency will be one of change--that’s for sure! I believe he means “Big Change ($$$$).”
