Monterey Park : New Citizens to Be Honored

Residents who became U.S. citizens between July, 1991, and July, 1992, will be honored at the city’s Independence Day ceremony this year, Councilwoman Marie T. Purvis said.
The naturalized residents will be given certificates at the July 4 ceremony at Barnes Memorial Park.
To receive certificates, new citizens can call the city Parks and Recreation Department at (818) 307-1388 or Purvis at (818) 280-9025.
