Malcolm A. MacIntyre, 84, former undersecretary of the Air Force and president of the now defunct Eastern Airlines. An Air Force official from 1957 to 1959 during the Eisenhower Administration, MacIntyre ran Eastern from 1959 to 1963. During his tenure, the airline adopted its most lucrative routes--shuttles from Washington to Boston and New York. He served as executive vice president of Martin Marietta Corp. from 1964 to 1972, then entered private law practice. On Wednesday in Washington.
