Sweden Beats Finland for World Hockey Title

Sweden, which barely made the final round, won its second consecutive world hockey championship Sunday with a 5-2 victory over Finland at Prague.

Sweden is tied with Czechoslovakia with six titles on the all-time list. The Soviet Union tops the list with 22 titles and Canada is second with 19.

Peter Forsberg, Roger Hansson, Lars Karlsson and Arto Blomsten, four of 16 rookies on the young Swedish team, all scored along with Mikael Andersson.
