On the Move: For its 10th season, “Star Search” will move away from Hollywood and relocate at the Disney-MGM Studios near Orlando, Fla., executives announced Monday. The show also is being renamed “Ed McMahon’s Star Search,” noting McMahon’s 10 years as host. In another change, the talent showcase is expanding to a half-hour Monday-through-Friday format in addition to the current hour weekend program. . . . Another syndicated show also is leaving Los Angeles. “The Montel Williams Show,” now based at CBS here, will move to New York this summer. A press release referred to New York as “the news and information capital of the world” and quoted an executive as being “excited about the opportunities this move will present to us.”
