Racial Unrest and Immigration

Share

In light of the recent racial unrest in Los Angeles, I want to ask our federal government to put an end now to the ridiculously high level of immigration to the United States. We need to be given time to assimilate the wide variety of cultures and economic levels that already exist in this country. Our system and its people should not be asked to bear the social and financial burden imposed by the nearly unlimited level of immigration that now exists.

No other country on Earth comes close to the generosity and diversity of the United States. This noble experiment, the United States, has gone dangerously overboard in its generosity and diversity.

I believe that the people of our planet should and will eventually be united as one. That is the ultimate noble goal. It is a goal, however, that requires patience.

In achieving this goal of unity we should not endanger what has been the greatest nation in history by asking it to bear a burden that is too great.
