Infant Escapes Injury in Fall From Car Roof
Associated Press
WORCESTER, Mass. —
A 3-month-old boy fell from the roof of his father’s moving car but landed upright and uninjured in his portable car seat, authorities said.
Matthew Murray rode on the roof for three-quarters of a mile Sunday before the car seat fell.
His father, Michael Murray, was cited for driving to endanger. He said he left the baby on the roof while he strapped his 20-month-old daughter into another car seat. He later heard a sliding noise on the roof as he accelerated and saw his son hit the pavement of Interstate 290.
