Schoolchildren on the Rioting

Though my age is only 13, I feel myself smarter than many people that live in this city. Those terrible riots were all about the Rodney King verdict. So many people felt so strongly about the verdict that they were able to take their anger out and hurt many people and property. They think the verdict is wrong. But we were not there in that courtroom to hear the testimony. And, most important, we were not there to see the beating. No officer or anyone in their right mind would do something so cruel and heartless.
