Apple Unveils New High-End Mac: Apple Computer continued its quick-to-market strategy by introducing a more powerful Macintosh Quadra seven months after the high-end computers first hit stores. The Quadra 950 is about 30% more powerful than its predecessor, the Quadra 900. The new model is aimed at publishers, engineers and architects who need lots of speed, memory, 3-D graphics and occasional sound capability.
