3 Cows Killed in Drive-By Shooting at Dairy Farm

SMITHTON, Pa. — Three cows were killed in a drive-by shooting on a dairy farm, police said. Seven other cows were wounded in the shooting Sunday evening.
“The police told us they think a semiautomatic rifle was used and five passes were made by the pasture, with shots being fired three of those times,” said farmer Donald Hepler, owner of the animals.
