LOS ANGELES COUNTY : Hot Line Established to Deal With Riot Stress
A toll-free mental health hot line has been established to help people who have experienced psychological distress because of the recent civil unrest and fires.
Professional staff with expertise on matters including working with distressed children, adolescents, older adults and ethnic groups, will handle calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This service is offered without charge by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. The number is (800) 854-7771.
