Rykoff-Sexton Inc. announced the promotion of Harold E. Feather to president and Chris G. Adams to executive vice president of sales for the newly formed Rykoff-Sexton distribution division, and Alan V. Giuliani to the newly created position of president of the company’s manufacturing division.
Feather, 53, joined the company in 1964 as a distribution supervisor. Most recently, he was president of the company’s John Sexton & Co. division.
Adams, 53, a 23-year veteran, previously served as president of the S. E. Rykoff & Co. division.
Giuliani, 46, joined Rykoff-Sexton in 1990 as vice president of manufacturing.
The Rykoff-Sexton distribution division is made up of S. E. Rykoff & Co., based in Los Angeles, with 10 distribution centers throughout the western United States and Hawaii, and John Sexton & Co., headquartered in Chicago, with 18 distribution centers in the eastern half of the United States. The organization distributes more than 40,000 food and related non-food products and services for the food service industry throughout the country.
