Looters

Amnesty for looters and rioters? I can’t believe the hypocrisy! The poor and downtrodden citizens of South L.A. felt justice was not served by the acquittal of racist LAPD officers and I agree. I was ashamed and our country was humiliated by the verdict. So what did these citizens do? Did they march in protest? Did they congregate outside government buildings and demand justice? No. They looted and rioted, and innocent victims lost their homes, their livelihood and some their lives. Anyone who watched the televised festival-like atmosphere of looting can tell you those looters didn’t care about racial injustice. They were stealing.

What kind of moral lesson will our children be taught if they see televised criminals go free? When will justice prevail?
