CAMARILLO : Council Alters Rules on Public Comment
- Share via
The Camarillo City Council has revamped its policy on public comment at council meetings to help end confusion about when residents can say what is on their minds.
Under the new policy, residents may speak on items that are on or off the agenda during the public comment period, which starts at the beginning of the 5 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. sessions of each council meeting.
Residents may speak during public hearings when they are scheduled, usually at the start of the 7:30 p.m. session.
Residents also may talk to the council about public information items when they are scheduled on the agenda, after the public hearings.
