LifeFleet Acquires Florida Firm: LifeFleet, an Irvine-based provider of private ambulance services in four states, said Monday that it has acquired Atlantic Ambulance Services in Florida. Atlantic will continue operations under its current name in three Florida counties and in the city of Key West. With the addition of the Atlantic employees, LifeFleet’s work force totals nearly 2,000 emergency medical technicians, paramedics and support personnel.
