NEWPORT BEACH : Fire Crews to Clear Weeds and Debris
It’s that time of the year again when neighbors who refuse to trim nasty weeds or businesses that leave flammable debris or junk on their properties will have it hauled away by the city for a fee.
The city will begin clearing out weeds and debris June 9, following the traditional public hearing on the issue, to be held Monday.
Affected property owners will be notified if their properties--even their front yards--have become a public nuisance.
