Speaking of luxury properties: The Irvine Co. has opened sales for the second group of its Pelican Hill custom home sites in the Newport Coast development. Prices for the hillside lots, which average half an acre each, start at $700,000 and top out at $2 million. And that’s before there’s a house on them.
