The U.S. Olympic women’s basketball roster was trimmed to 15 players as Lynette Woodard and Ruthie Bolton were cut with a week remaining in the team’s camp at Colorado Springs, Colo. Bolton graduated from Auburn in 1990.

A final cutdown to 12 players will be announced on June 11 or 12.

Seven former Olympians remain among the 15 Barcelona hopefuls, including six members of the 1988 gold medal squad. Coach Theresa Grentz will select a 12-member team and three alternates.

The remaining finalists are Jennifer Azzi, Vicky Bullett, Daedra Charles, Cynthia Cooper, Clarissa Davis, Medina Dixon, Teresa Edwards, Tammy Jackson, Carolyn Jones, Katrina McClain, Suzie McConnell, Pam McGee, Vickie Orr, Katy Steding and Teresa Weatherspoon.
