L.A. Police and the Media

I question your timing on the publication of a series of articles critical of the Los Angeles Police Department. It seems to me that doing anything that tends to justify or encourage the present rebellious attitude of Los Angeles gang members toward all authority may be just a shade short of stupid. The volatility of the southwest Los Angeles area seems obvious.
You, of course, have an absolute right under the Constitution to print whatever you wish. I am only questioning the wisdom of throwing gasoline on a smoldering fire.
