PerfectData’s Profit Rises 40% in Quarter

PerfectData Corp., a Simi Valley maker of computer maintenance products, said its fiscal fourth-quarter profit rose 40% from a year earlier on a 19% sales increase.

In the quarter ended March 31, the company’s net income climbed to $206,000 from $147,000 a year earlier, and its sales rose to $2.21 million from $1.85 million.

For its full fiscal year, PerfectData earned $669,000, up 11% from $601,000 the previous year, and its annual sales increased 27%, to $7.81 million from $6.17 million.
