Yoder writes, “So Washington, it seems, turned a blind eye to the Iraqis’ abuses of U.S. loan guarantees, even after pretty hard intelligence that these credits were being used to buy arms, sponsor terrorist activities and build weapons of mass destruction” (instead of benefiting U.S. agribusiness). Yes, Mr. Yoder, that seems to be the “unobscured truth”!
