Glendora : Zone Change for Day Care

The City Council on Monday instructed the city staff to draft a zoning amendment that could eventually allow day-care centers in residential areas.
The action was prompted by a request from John Maycock, whose Village Christian Preschool operates out of the First Evangelical Methodist Church, for a zone change to allow him to open another church site.
Councilman Marshall Mouw said he would like to consider day-care facilities not only at church and school facilities but also at private residences.
