Dennis Horan Jr. of San Diego saw his lead cut to 108 pins after four rounds in the Professional Bowlers Assn. Active West Open at Riverside. Horan, a non-winner on the tour, led by 230 pins heading into the first round of match play but won only four of his eight games en route to a 6,232-pin total. Scott Alexander of Gig Harbor, Wash., was in second position at 6,124. Dave Ferraro of Kingston, N.Y. won seven games, including a 246-224 decision over Horan in the final game, to move from ninth place to third.
