On With the Shew: “The Ed Sullivan Show” is being revived with help from Japan’s biggest network. Sofa Entertainment, the American company that bought the rights to 23 years’ worth of the TV show, is working with the Japan Broadcasting Corp., Japan’s public TV network, to edit and release 130 half-hour segments to American, Japanese and other TV markets late this year and in early 1993.
