The City Council has unanimously approved a one-year contract with Orange County to handle animal control services within the city.

The contract covers the rescue and sheltering of animals and runs from July 1 through June 30, 1993. The city will pay about $26,200 for the services, which include licensing, inspections and low-cost rabies vaccination clinics.
