SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : County to Handle Animal Control
The City Council has unanimously approved a one-year contract with Orange County to handle animal control services within the city.
The contract covers the rescue and sheltering of animals and runs from July 1 through June 30, 1993. The city will pay about $26,200 for the services, which include licensing, inspections and low-cost rabies vaccination clinics.
In addition to San Juan Capistrano and unincorporated areas, the county performs animal control services for 23 cities.
