Glendale

East Elk Avenue, 1100 block--A man reported that his fiancee, whom he recently began living with, stole about $2,500 cash, an assault rifle, a handgun, and jewelry and clothing of undetermined value while he was out of his apartment on June 14 between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.

South Glendale Avenue, 800 block--A computer valued at $2,500 was stolen from Windsor Liquor on June 17.

Riverdale Drive, 400 block--A burglar entered an apartment and stole a VCR, a compact disc player, a telephone, two watches and jewelry valued together at $1,300 at noon June 19, and, although a neighbor reported seeing the thief, he was able to flee.

North Adams Street, 700 block--A man who had small amounts of money ($25, $90, $4) stolen from his desk in his unlocked duplex apartment on various occasions between June 15 and 17 caught the suspected thief in his residence at 7:50 a.m. June 19 and held him until police arrived.

South Central Avenue, 1300 block--A woman reported that she had given $2,000 to another woman for a “gold bar.” But the envelope the woman gave her on June 20 contained only a rock and newspaper.

South Glendale Avenue, 200 block--Burglars broke the glass front door of Rodeo Liquor at 5:48 a.m. June 20 and stole cigarettes valued at $2,159.

West Stocker Street, 300 block--Thieves entered an apartment through an unlocked patio door between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 20 and stole $5,000 cash from a drawer.

La Canada Flintridge

Foothill Boulevard, 500 block--A teller at a Security Pacific Bank branch was robbed of $2,340 at 12:30 p.m. June 17 by a man who fled in a black car.

Elysian Park

Centennial Street, 800 block--A man was robbed at gunpoint of his car and $65 in his carport at 10:45 p.m. June 19.

La Crescenta

Foothill Boulevard, 3100 block--Acting on complaints that employees of Milanos Market were selling alcoholic beverages to minors, police sent a 17-year-old male decoy to the location at 7:40 p.m. on June 19. An undercover officer observed the youth purchase a six-pack of beer. The clerk was arrested and released on his own recognizance. The incident is also being investigated by the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Atwater

Fletcher Drive, 2700 block--Thieves stole a generator valued at $5,000 from the bed of a truck on June 14 or 15.

Glendale Boulevard, 1600 block--A mini-market clerk was robbed at gunpoint of $400 by a man at 8:30 p.m. June 16.

Fletcher Drive and San Fernando Road--Thieves stole industrial equipment valued at $7,000 from an unsecured warehouse between 6 and 11 a.m. June 17.

Glendale Boulevard, 2400 block--A woman reported that a man pushed her against a wall at a carwash and then stole a purse and money valued at $160 from her car at 4:45 p.m. June 18.

Eagle Rock

Hilltop Road, 5300 block--A TV and video equipment valued at $1,200 were stolen from a home on June 16.

Monte Bonito Drive, 5200 block--Burglars pried open a door lock and then stole recorded music and clothing valued at $1,595 between 2 and 4 p.m. June 17.

Hill Drive, 2200 block--Thieves kicked in a side window of a home and stole a stereo valued at $3,000 at 5:45 p.m. June 18.

Echo Park

Morton Avenue, 1800 block--Tools and equipment valued at $1,460 were stolen from a commercial building between 1 and 9 a.m. June 15.

New Depot Street, 900 block--Seven men wearing black, hooded sweat shirts and armed with guns forced their way into an apartment, ordered the occupants not to move, then ransacked the apartment and stole money and jewelry valued at $5,200 at 9 p.m. June 15.

Fanning Street, 1700 block--Thieves pried open a garage door and stole art objects valued at $3,000 on June 16 or 17.

Glassell Park

Avenue 28 and Huron Street--Two men stopped two people in their vehicle, ordered them out of the car at gunpoint, and robbed them of their wallets and money valued at $400 at 10:45 p.m. June 15.

Tacoma Avenue, 3600 block--A TV and video equipment valued at $1,070 were stolen from an unlocked home between 10:30 a.m. and noon June 18.

Highland Park

Avenue 64 and Meridian Street--A man pushed a woman to the ground in a parking lot and drove off in her car, which had the keys in the ignition, at 5:30 a.m. June 15.

North Avenue 54, 800 block--Burglars entered Franklin High School and stole musical instruments and computers valued at $2,840 on June 14 or 15.

Irvington Terrace, 5200 block--A thief entered an unlocked home between 7 and 11 a.m. June 17 and stole a purse and money valued at $1,005.

North Avenue 53, 300 block--Two men armed with a revolver robbed a man in a driveway of money and jewelry valued at $820 at 10:30 p.m. June 18.

Eaton Street, 5000 block--A house was burglarized between 9:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. June 19, and money and a TV valued at $2,505 were stolen.

Los Feliz

Hyperion Avenue, 2900 block--Burglars stole video equipment and a stereo valued at $935 from a home between 10:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. June 15.

North New Hampshire Avenue, 1100 block--Thieves used a crowbar to pry off the door lock on an apartment and stole a TV and video equipment valued at $2,620 on June 15 or 16.

North Mariposa Avenue, 1600 block--Burglars entered an unlocked apartment and stole a TV and video equipment valued at $1,349 between 5 and 11 p.m. June 16.

Crystal Springs Drive, 4700 block--Golf clubs valued at $1,940 were stolen from in front of a club house between 10:30 and 11:20 a.m. June 18.

Hyperion Avenue, 2900 block--An appliance store employee was robbed of $1,500 by a gunman at 7:30 p.m. June 17.

North New Hampshire Avenue, 1800 block--Burglars pried open the security window of an apartment and stole money and a TV valued at $2,850 between 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 17.

Hyperion Avenue, 1200 block--Jewelry and video equipment valued at $1,650 were stolen from a home between 6:50 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. June 17.

North Alexandria Avenue, 1800 block--Burglars entered an apartment by cutting a balcony screen, ransacked a bedroom and living room, and stole video and telephone equipment valued at $1,470 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. June 17.

Los Feliz Boulevard, 4500 block--Recorded music valued at $1,450 was stolen from an apartment between 6 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. June 19.

Riverside Drive, 2800 block--Business machines and video equipment valued at $3,650 were stolen from a home between 6:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. June 19.

North Alexandria Avenue, 1800 block--Burglars forced an apartment door open and stole business machines and cameras valued at $1,050 between 8 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. June 19.

Vermont Avenue, 1800 block--A woman reported that her purse and money valued at $90 were snatched from her on the street at 10:40 a.m. June 21.
