ComputerLand Acquires TRW Customer Service Division: The acquisition of the $110-million division adds 13,000 service customers for ComputerLand of Pleasanton, Calif. Company officials said the move comes amid growing demand for outside microcomputer maintenance services, a $2.25-billion market. “ComputerLand is moving ahead with plans to quickly convert TRW’s operations to our service dispatch, logistics and service management systems,” a ComputerLand executive said.
