Litton to Get $91.6 Million Under Pentagon Contract

Litton Industries Inc.’s Data Systems division in Agoura said it was awarded an additional $91.6 million from the Pentagon to produce 18 mobile command and control systems for the Air National Guard and Marine Corps Reserve.

However, the company said production of the systems will be done mainly at the division’s Colorado Springs, Colo., facility.

The MCE/TAOM systems are transportable units for controlling aircraft and surface-to-air missiles. Litton said its total awards under the program now exceed $1 billion, and the latest award lifts the number of units ordered for the Air Force and the Marine Corps to 136.
