HOMEMADE BALL: The Rawlings baseball people are bringing their traveling caravan to Santa Ana Thursday, en route to next week’s All-Star game in San Diego. It’s an equipment museum on wheels that includes gloves and bats dating back to the 1890s. . . . Says spokesman Ed Conti: “Balls that will be used in the All-Star game will be made by hand in a demonstration” at the display at the Taco Bell, 2820 Bristol St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
