Your Bill . . . and Ballot: Forget the polls. To find out who is leading in the presidential race, the Gustaf Anders restaurant in South Coast Village is handing out ballots with guests’ dinner checks.

The results after two weeks of balloting show Ross Perot in the lead with 218 votes, Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton in second place with 130 and President Bush trailing with 113.

The Swedish restaurant makes no claims for the poll’s accuracy. But the voting may be the first in which the voter, rather than the ballot box, is stuffed.
