Writing Their Own Agenda

Condom distribution, pro-abortion counseling, and now Gay and Lesbian Pride Month. It is apparent that Los Angeles school authorities have lost sight of their primary function and are wholeheartedly engaged in an elitist program of social engineering, a program that loses sight of a major factor: As public servants, they are not free to promote their own personal agenda. They are elected to represent the people, and to act in accordance with their will. It is obvious they are interested only in fostering what they believe to be politically correct, regardless of the traditional values held by the electorate.

Homosexuality is a choice. For those who hold it merely as an “alternative lifestyle,” it is still a choice. For those who see it as a perversion, it is a choice which violates natural law, or worse, divine law.

In either case, why should desperately needed resources be dedicated to such a choice? The school authorities do not celebrate virginity. They do not promote mutually faithful monogamy. Celibacy is not even considered. Why then, do they single out homosexuality for special recognition?
