High Life / A WEEKLY FORUM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS : Where to Make the Love Connection

Share

Singles bars and discotheques may be haunts for adults in search of the perfect mate, but teen-agers seeking a boyfriend or girlfriend don’t often use these methods.

A common bond among high-schoolers is the difficulty in meeting members of the opposite sex. Between school, sports, homework and social activities, scoping out the “babes” or “hunks” is often the last thing anyone has the energy to do. Perhaps finding that special someone will become easier with all of the free time that summer allows. But where to start?

Hot Topics asks, “Where’s the hottest spot for meeting guys or girls?”

“The beach, because that’s where the tan ones are.”

Becky Williams, 16,

“The OP Pro, because it’s a surfing contest, and people from all over come to watch it. Plus it’s fun!”
