Irvine Firm Acquires Lake Forest Company: Technology Marketing Inc., an Irvine-based company that sells memory testing devices to computer manufacturers, said Monday that it has purchased a company in neighboring Lake Forest in a deal valued at about $30,000.

Integrated Test Systems, which employs five people, will move its office from Lake Forest to Technology Marketing’s Irvine headquarters, said Robert Vesely, chief financial officer for Technology Marketing.

Integrated Test Systems has just developed a low-cost, high-performance memory test system that Vesely said will broaden his company’s product line. Technology Marketing sells its systems for about $500,000 each, while Integrated Test Systems has introduced a product for less than $10,000.

Technology Marketing was founded in 1989 by Thomas Wiles, formerly of AST Research. It employs 47 people and had revenue of about $7 million for its latest fiscal year. It said it acquired Integrated Test Systems for 100,000 shares of common stock.
